On February 8th, 2025, I had the pleasure of hosting my second photography workshop at Lunar Studios in Sydney, Australia and it was an absolutely fantastic day! Β The studio was the perfect backdrop for a day of hands-on learning, creativity, and passion for photography. Β From the beautiful space to the talented photographers and my amazing model Abbie, everything came together to make this workshop one to remember.

We had the chance to dive into a variety of topics, covering everything from the technical side of shooting to the business of photography. Β We discussed preproduction, post-production and how to foster your creativity in today’s ever-changing world of photography. Β It was incredible to see everyone engaged and eager to learn. Β I had so much fun sharing the knowledge I’ve gathered over my 50+ years of experience behind the camera.

Of course, no workshop would be complete without some storytelling and I took every opportunity to share stories from my own journey in the photography world. Β Each shot, each challenge and each triumph has shaped me into the photographer I am today β€” and it was a privilege to pass along those lessons to the attendees.

A major highlight of the day was having the chance to shoot alongside the group with my model Abbie. Β Not only did we shoot in the studio, but we also ventured outside on location to explore different environments and how to adapt to various lighting and settings. Β Watching everyone grow as photographers as they tried out new techniques was incredibly rewarding.

The atmosphere was collaborative, supportive, and full of energy. Β The best part? Β Realizing that I’m not alone in this photography life β€” and neither are any of the attendees. Β The passion we share for photography and the stories it tells is something truly special and seeing everyone so engaged and inspired was a powerful reminder of why I love teaching.

A huge thank you to Lunar Studios for hosting and supporting me in Sydney. Β Their studios are incredible, and without their generosity, these workshops wouldn’t be possible. Β I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to share this experience in such a fantastic environment.

Also, a big thanks to EVERYONE who showed up. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn made this workshop so enjoyable. I hope you all walked away with something that will help you grow in your own photography journey.

I can’t wait to see where your photography life takes you and I’m already looking forward to the next workshop!
